Commercial Tool & Die is a company specializing as a leading manufacturer of plastic injection and die cast molds and through our sister companies, fixtures, special machinery, and custom molding, we provide quality service to the automotive, appliance, hardware and toy producing industries. We are looking to add a Chief Information Technology Officer to join our leadership team and make a mark by evaluating existing technology and software utilization, pitch more effective solutions, manage our IT/ERP team members, and provide best-in-class execution for implementation of systems to streamline and automate functions throughout our organization, particularly within Purchasing, Accounting, Material Handling, and Engineering. What You'll Do:

The Chief Information Technology Officer is responsible for overseeing the effectiveness of technology resources and software programs. Duties include communicating with other executives, performing research on new technologies that could enhance our business and monitoring the use and implementation of new and existing technologies across departments. In this role, you will:

  • Present reports on the company's technology status, goals and/or progress.
  • Create and implement technology strategies.
  • Align the company's technology and software resources with the organization's short- and long-term goals.
  • Identify what technologies and software can be used to improve the companies processes and abilities to streamline/automate.
  • Create and oversee high-level KPIs for IT, ERP, and Software Development.
  • Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and training within the IT department.
  • Develop and execute training programs to help internal end-users adapt to new technology systems in their daily work environments.
  • Manage the department's budget.
  • Demonstrate a variety of hard and soft skills, such as excellent verbal and written communication, strong emotional intelligence, effective organization and time-management, advanced knowledge of technology for business and functions within the IT department, and excellent leadership.
