Upon completion of the 4-year program, the Department of Labor issues the highly respected and coveted Journeyman’s Certification. Are you the Logistics Manager we're looking for?
To excel as the Logistics Manager at Commercial Tool Group (CTG), you will need a diverse skill set that combines technical knowledge and strong interpersonal abilities. A minimum of an associate's degree in logistics, supply chain management, operations, or a related field is essential, with a bachelor's degree preferred. You should bring at least 3 years of management experience and over 5 years in logistics, warehouse, or transportation operations. A firm grasp of supply chain principles is crucial, along with exceptional organizational and analytical skills to navigate complex logistics challenges.
Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office applications—including Excel, Outlook, and Teams—is required. Your success will also hinge on your ability to multitask efficiently, negotiate contracts, and engage effectively with various departments. Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills will empower you to lead, coach, and train your direct reports as you strive for high performance across the organization.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- Contract negotiation

- Knowledge of logistics software
- Personal computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and ERP type software (Epicor)

- Minimum associates degree in logistics, supply chain management, operations, business admin, transportation, or other relevant program, preferably bachelor's degree.
- 3+ years of management experience.
- 5+ years experience in logistics, warehouse, or transportation operations.
- Firm grasp of supply chain, inventory, distribution, business, and management principles.
- Ability to manage, coach, and provide training for direct reports.
- Exceptional organizational and analytical skills.
